T.E.A.M. Hiki No 18U made much improvements coming off of the MLK tournament and had a good tournament at the Las Vegas Classic. Coming in seeded in the 60s, they were able to shake off a slow start on Saturday and have a great Sunday to move up as high as 33rd. While not ideal, they were very close to moving much higher, giving us a great outlook for the rest of the season. Once we can make those adjustments, we’ll be able to get those few points that are separating us from top clubs around the nation.
Also during President’s Day weekend, 17U played well finishing third overall in the 18U division of the NW Juniors President’s Day tourney. There is also much improvement to be made all around, but the same goes that we feel we are close to being where we need to be, and right on track with our plan for the season.
Up next for both teams is Colorado Crossroads, where we start to see the progression curve take shape. 16U will also be in action with their March Power League at Prairie High School. Please support them if you are free.
Again, we’re right on track for doing big things assuming we keep putting in the work that needs to be done and making the necessary changes along our journey! Best of luck to all teams this weekend and as always, Hiki No!!
