16U and 17U were in Spokane over Spring Break competing at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier.
For 16U, this was their first National Qualifying tournament of the season and a great experience for the group as a whole, as they were able to get better during the tournament and win their final flight on Sunday.  17U also had a rough start and followed the same path as 16U, steadily improving as we moved forward and also winning their flight on Sunday.  Congratulations to both on what we can consider a successful tournament.

This past weekend saw most of the club in action in their final Power Leagues of the season.  14-1 and 2 played on Saturday, with 14-1 hanging on to a top 10 spot and 14-2 moving up to Bronze, which is a huge step considering our starting position.  12U/17U/18U all competed on Sunday, remaining in their respective divisions.

16U is up next weekend with their final Power League and then Regionals to follow the week after!  We’re getting close to the home stretch, and during that time we want to remind everyone that success is not measured in wins and losses, but in the improvement and achievement of the goals we set at the beginning of the year.  Continue to work hard and focus on making changes.  A hui hou and, as always, Hiki No!!
